Itinerary
- Pick up (Civitavecchia Port, Airport, your accommodation or any other location in Rome)
- The Vatican. The car will get to the Saint Peter Basilica following one of the most impressive street of Rome (Via della Conciliazione). Before arriving you will see Castel San'Angelo connected by an old wall (with a secret pass) to the Vatican. Arrived in piazza San Pietro you have time to walk in the Square, get into the Basilica and see "La Pietà" di Michelangelo and the interior of the most visited church of the world.
- Pantheon. Here you have time for a walk in this spectacular old area of Rome. The car will wait for you at the drop off point. If you like coffee...ask the driver to give you directions for one of the most famous espresso/cappuccino bar in Rome
- Piazza Navona. This unique square deserves to be visited; the Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi (by Bernini) and the San'Agnese in Agone by Borromini are two amazing examples of Baroque art
- Church of San Pietro in Vincoli. This is a 10 minutes stop that we want to suggest to see the Mosè di Michelangelo. This is one of the most famous sculpture of Michelangelo.
- Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. The symbol of the "Dolce Vita", one of the most romantic places of Rome. Before leaving throw a coin in Trevi Fountain, according to the legend, this will guarantee that you will visit Rome again in the future. Next stop is Spanish Steps!
- Palatino Hill. The driver will bring you to the top of Palatino. You can see the Campidoglio and one of the most amazing view of the Roman Forum from the top of the hill. You can walk down and the car will be waiting for you there
- Colosseum and Roman Forum.From piazza Venezia, the car will go through Via dei Fori Imperiali to get to the Colosseum. You cannot miss a picture here and a walk around in a place who saw so much history
- Bocca della verità and Circus Maximus
- Aventino Hill and Parco degli Aranci. This is a special place! The driver will show you some very nice spots to take pictures and see Rome from a different point of view!
- The 4 Basiliche of Rome. Rome has more than 3000 churches with 4 major Basiliche: San Pietro (that you have already visited at this point), San Paolo Fuori le mura, San Giovanni and Santa Maria Maggiore. It is very advices to have a look at all of them. With the private tour is possible.
- Gianicolo.The Janiculum is one of the most romantic hill of Rome with a very nice view on the city because is the second tallest point to see the Eternal city!
- Any other location! For example Trastevere is an amazing place to find a nice restaurant for dinner, Villa Borghese, the Cathacombs, Via Appia Antica are also very interesting attractions...the list of beauties is endless in Rome
